{"id":877,"date":"2021-02-20T14:37:36","date_gmt":"2021-02-20T04:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empicentre.udesignsvr.com.au\/?post_type=product&#038;p=877"},"modified":"2021-02-20T15:19:30","modified_gmt":"2021-02-20T05:19:30","slug":"filling-co2-bottles","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/empicentre.udesignsvr.com.au\/?product=filling-co2-bottles","title":{"rendered":"Filling CO2 Bottles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Filling CO2 Bottles<\/strong><br \/>\nYou will\u00a0 need\u00a0 a CO2 bulk tank from a gas supplier like BOC, a CO2 fill station and your Co2 paintball tank.<br \/>\nRecommend scales also.<br \/>\nFollow these steps:<br \/>\nRefrigerate your CO2 paintball tank before filling it to avoid fluctuations in pressure due to temperature differences<br \/>\nFirmly attach the fill station to your BOC liquid withdrawal CO2 tank<br \/>\nAttach the paintball Co2 tank to the fill station and rotate the knob to depress the pin valve<br \/>\nClose off the 2 taps on the fill station<br \/>\nOpen up the BOC\u00a0 valve<br \/>\nOpen the tap closes to the BOC bottle<br \/>\nLet the Co2 into your tank till it fills,<br \/>\nClose off the fill station tap<br \/>\nUnwind the knob that is pressing down on the pin valve<br \/>\nOpen up the tap closest to you bottle this will bled out the air in the hose<br \/>\nUnscrew you paintball tank<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommend<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Always weigh the bottle when completely empty (not after chilling.)<br \/>\nWeigh your bottle after filling.<br \/>\nNever fill your bottle over the recommended weight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be Aware<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A bottle cannot be accurately filled without the use of a scale to determine weight (you cannot determine the fill by listening, counting etc.).<br \/>\nDo not use <em><strong>non<\/strong><\/em> DOT approved bottles or valves.<\/p>\n<p>Do not use bottles which show any signs of cracks, defects, etc.<\/p>\n<p>If your burst disk (located on the valve) shows any signs of leakage, it must be replaced immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The burst disk is a safety precaution on the bottle which bursts, allowing CO2 to escape if the pressure becomes to great.<\/p>\n<p>The replacement of this disk and washer must be done by an experienced person.
