No matter where you play, appropriate safety practice dictates that your paintball gun must have a barrel sock covering the end of the barrel while you are not on the playing field wearing your goggles.
Between games, a barrel sock keeps you and those around you safe by preventing any accidental discharges from your paintball gun from leaving the barrel and possibly injuring someone seriously.
