A thermal lens has two lenses with foam in-between them that traps a pocket of air.
This will reduce the temperature difference between you and the outside temperature which will reduce fogging.
These lenses are used in the JT Proshield, Proflex & Premise Goggle Systems as well as the Tippmann Tactical Airsoft Goggle
Remember to take care of you lens, clean with ER Lens cleaner and a good clean microfiber cloth
Also do not submerge you lens into water
