A thermal lens has two lenses with foam in-between them that traps a pocket of air.
This will reduce the temperature difference between you and the outside temperature which will reduce fogging.
These lenses are used in the Vforce Grill Goggles
Remember to take care of you lens, clean with ER Lens cleaner and a good clean microfiber cloth.
Also do not submerge you lens into water
